Nathan Tasker

Saturday night 7 of my friends and I attended a Nathan Tasker concert at Northshore Church in Chatswood. I'd only heard a couple of his songs before, but that was enough for me to go and see him live. And I wasn't dissapointed. The band sounded incredible (I couldn't fault the mix at all!), and they were incredibly talented as well. There was more than one time where I was just sitting there amazed by their skill.

At
the moment, Nathan Tasker is one of the bigger stars in the Australian Christian Music Industry, an accolade which I think is highly deserved. His song writing ability is incredible. During the concert, there were times when Nathan's lyrics alone almost brought me to tears.

His new album, "Must Be More" is fantastic, and I highly recommend it for anyone who likes good quality music. Recorded in Nashville over a few months, produced by Charlie Peacock and Scott Dente, and featuring vocals by Steve Mason on one of my favourite tracks, "Thief in the Night", the album sounds incredible. Most times an artist sounds completely different on their album to their live sound, but this is not really the case with this CD - which is a credit to Nathan and his live band.

Nathan is currently touring, so if he's anywhere near you, make sure you make a point of going to see him!

Here's a couple of pics of me with Nathan and his band :)

hey, I saw Nathan Tasker for the first time tonight in Houston, TX.
He was at a church that I sometimes attend on Sunday nights because my church doesn't have a Sunday night service- and I almost left because I was there mainly to hear preaching of the Word.
I stayed for a couple of songs, liked what I heard, and decided to stay for the whole thing.

I am very glad that I did, and it was definitely a blessing.
And I bought the "Must Be More" CD as well!
