Just found out via [The Colour & the Shape] that Kanye West has apparently been confirmed as the opening act for U2 in Australia & NZ. Not too sure how I feel about that. I was hoping that they'd use an Australian band - I'd heard rumours that Jet were going to be opening for the group....I think I'd like that better.

I was searching recent posts about U2 on blogger and found yours about Kanye West opening for them downunder. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah in the United States. The boys just played here on Saturday night. Kanye West opened for them here. I am not a hip-hop fan at all, but was suprisingly entertained by his 35 minute, 10 song set. He was full of energy, and the crowd where I was in the elipse were very much into it.
