Life Groups 05
We had our first official Life Group meeting for the year last night. My cell leader shared her vision for the year, which basically consists of us knuckling down and doing everything that we said we were going to do last year.
Next week we're beginning a 6 week group study of the Phillip Yancey book "What's so Amazing About Grace?", which I'm really looking forward to.
After that book, we begin "How to Succeed at Being Yourself" by the fabulous Joyce Meyer, however this book gets interrupted half way through, when my church begins the "40 Days of Purpose" campaign. Once the campaign is over though, we kick straight back into the book.
When we've finished that book, we start on my cell leader's favourite: "Intimate Friendship with God through Understanding the Fear of the Lord" (what a mouthful!) by Joy Dawson. For a small book, it's pretty intense.
After Sherli shared her vision for our cell last night, I can't wait to see what God does in and through our cell!!!
