Tsunami
The fatalities from the tsunami in Asia are now around the 60,000 mark.
My heart breaks every time I hear about it or see it on the news.
It's such a global catastrophe - it really reminds us of how powerless we
really are.
I have to admit though - the first thing I heard of when the news broke of
the disaster was "well...the world seems to be falling apart at the seams -
it can't be too long now". There's just so much going on in the world now
that really can't be explained any other way.
